About AdvantEdge Leadership
Why partner with us
AdvantEdge Leadership helps executives close the gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it. Based in Medford, Oregon and serving clients nationwide, the practice is led by Anna Barnhill, a Master Certified Coach and the author of Leaderwired.

The leadership challenge
Growth reveals leadership gaps
Every organization hits the point where the skills that got you here will not get you there: where technical expertise is not enough, where decisions carry higher stakes, and where your culture becomes either a competitive advantage or a silent liability.
This is true whether you are running a Fortune 500 division or a 50-person company poised to scale. The only question is whether you have the right support to navigate it.
How we work with executivesValues, vision, mission
Three principles guide everything we do
Integrity
We build trust through honest assessment, transparent processes and accountable results. Our data-driven approach ensures that leadership development investments deliver measurable business impact.
Innovation
We continuously refine our methods to address emerging challenges. By embracing new ideas and technologies, we help leaders stay ahead of the curve in rapidly evolving markets.
Impact
We design every interaction to create meaningful, sustainable change. Our systemic approach ensures that improvements cascade throughout your organization, turning individual leadership capability into enterprise-wide excellence.
Our vision
A world where leadership capacity never limits organizational potential.
Our mission
We equip leaders with the mindsets to see clearly, the skillsets to act decisively, and the systems to scale what works, developing the human capabilities that AI cannot replicate.
What we deliver
Mindsets, skillsets and systems, at whichever level drives the change
For executive leaders
The mindsets, skillsets and systems to lead confidently through complexity, whether you are navigating succession, scaling operations or transforming culture.
Executive coachingFor teams
Alignment, accountability, and the ability to have the direct conversations that drive performance instead of the careful ones that preserve comfort.
Executive team developmentFor organizations
Measurable transformation, not theoretical frameworks: a baseline before the work begins, stakeholder feedback during it, and re-measurement at the end.
Culture transformationFor executives anywhere
We work with leaders in person throughout Southern Oregon and virtually with executives across the country: same methodology, same accountability, same results.
Programs and pricingOur commitment: we succeed when you succeed. Not before. Your advancement is our metric. Your impact is our return.
The AdvantEdge difference
Four things you can hold us to
Strategic partnership, not a vendor relationship
We do not parachute in with a pre-packaged program and disappear. We become a strategic thought partner: learning your business, understanding your culture and adapting our approach as your challenges evolve. Our clients do not hire us for a project. They partner with us for transformation.
Enterprise-ready methodology
This is executive development with business rigor, not life coaching. Our methodology integrates organizational psychology, Lean Six Sigma discipline and evidence-based behavioral science (CBT, ACT, MBSR). We work with individuals, leadership teams and entire organizations, whichever level drives the transformation you need.
Built for the AI era
Technology is reshaping every industry. The leaders who thrive are not the ones who fear disruption; they are the ones who develop the human capabilities AI cannot replicate: adaptive decision-making, emotional intelligence, strategic courage. Anna’s Leaderwired framework, developed through her work with Fortune 500 executives and set out in her book, equips leaders with exactly these capabilities. It is the same methodology at work in major enterprises and ambitious regional companies alike.
The bookAccountability that matches the stakes
We use Marshall Goldsmith’s Stakeholder Centered Coaching, a systematic process that involves your key stakeholders, measures progress quantitatively and rests on a plain commitment: if you follow the process, you will improve. That is not marketing. That is methodology.

After sixteen years as a confidential partner to senior leaders at Fortune 500 companies across tech, healthcare, finance and government, Anna serves executives nationwide from her Medford, Oregon base.
